  • 2 Tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1/2 Tsp Red Chili Flakes
  • 1/2 Tsp Ground Ginger
  • 1 Tsp MSG (Optional)
  • Pinch Coarse Salt (TT)
  • 1 Tbsp + 1 Tsp Cornstarch
  • 1 Tsp Coarse Black Pepper
  • 1/2 Cup Oyster Sauce
  • 1 Tbsp + 1 Tsp Soy Sauce
  • 1/2 Tsp Ground Ginger
  • 1 1/2 Tsp Coarse Black Pepper
  • 7 Cloves Garlic (Minced)
  • 2 Tsp Sesame Oil
  • 1 Tbsp Honey
  • 1 Tbsp Mirin or Rice Vinegar
  • 2 Tbsp Butter
  • 2 Bell Pepper
  • 1 Yellow Onion

Method

  1. 1

Cut chicken into bite-sized pieces and season with onion powder, garlic powder, red chili flakes, ground ginger, MSG, coarse salt, cornstarch, and 1 tsp coarse black pepper.

  2. 2

In a small bowl, whisk together the oyster sauce, soy sauce, ground ginger, 1 1/2 tsp coarse black pepper, minced garlic, sesame oil, honey, and mirin or rice vinegar to prepare the sauce.

  3. 3

Chop the bell peppers and yellow onion into bite-sized pieces.

  4. 4

Heat olive oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add the seasoned chicken and cook until browned and cooked through, then remove from the pan.

  5. 5

In the same pan, melt the butter and sauté the bell peppers and onion until tender-crisp.

  6. 6

Pour in the sauce mixture and let it simmer until slightly thickened, then return the chicken to the pan and toss everything together until well coated.
