Chick-Fil-A Chicken Smash Sandwich
A high-protein, low-calorie smashed chicken burger paired with a homemade light Chick-Fil-A style sauce.
Ingredients
- 24oz Chicken Breast
- 75g Green Onion
- 50g Red Pepper
- 10g Parsley
- 4 Cloves Garlic
- 3 Big Pinches Sea Salt
- 2 Big Pinch Black Pepper
- 4 Brioche Buns
- 84g 2% Colby Jack Cheese
- Splash of Chicken Broth
- Lettuce
- Tomato
- Red Onion
- 100g Plain Non Fat Greek Yogurt
- 80g 2% Cottage Cheese
- 30g Sugar Free Honey Mustard
- 25g Sugar Free BBQ Sauce
- 10g Djion Mustard
- 5g Pickle Juice (from jar)
- 2g Zero Cal Sweetener

Add the Greek yogurt, cottage cheese, sugar-free honey mustard, sugar-free BBQ sauce, Dijon mustard, pickle juice, and sweetener into a small blender and blend until smooth.

Flatten the chicken breasts and finely mince using a knife or food processor.

In a bowl, combine the minced chicken, diced green onion, diced red pepper, finely chopped parsley, minced garlic, sea salt, and black pepper. Mix well and form into 4 evenly sized patties.

Preheat a pan over medium-high heat. Place a patty in the pan and press down firmly with a burger press. Cook with the press on top for 3-4 minutes, then flip.

Top the patty with cheese and add a splash of chicken broth to the pan. Cover with a lid to steam and melt the cheese.

Assemble the sandwiches by layering a toasted brioche bottom bun with sauce, lettuce, tomato, red onion, the cooked smash patty, additional sauce, and the top bun.
