Copycat In-N-Out Flying Dutchman with Crispy Cheesy Onion Buns

A low-carb twist on the In-N-Out Flying Dutchman featuring mustard-seared beef patties served between crispy baked cheese and onion buns with a homemade copycat spread.

Ingredients

  • 1 onion, sliced whole
  • Shredded cheese
  • Ground beef
  • Salt and pepper
  • Mustard
  • 1/4 cup mayo
  • 1.5 tbsp sugar free ketchup
  • 2 tbsp dill relish
  • 1 tsp vinegar

Method

    Slice an onion whole and place each slice between two piles of shredded cheese on a parchment-lined baking sheet.

    Bake at 400°F for 6-10 minutes until cheese is melted and crispy.

    Mix ground beef with salt and pepper, flatten into patties, and rub each side with mustard.

    Fry patties in a skillet until cooked to your preference.

    Mix mayo, sugar free ketchup, dill relish, and vinegar in a small bowl to make the spread.
