Creamy Steak Pasta

A rich and flavorful pasta dish featuring seasoned ribeye steak served over rigatoni in a creamy tomato and parmesan sauce.

Ingredients

  • 1kg Ribeye Steak
  • 3 tbs Smokey BBQ Rub (Bon Cuisine)
  • 2 tbs SPG (Bon Cuisine)
  • 2 tbs Olive Oil
  • 50g Butter
  • 1 Sprig of Rosemary
  • 1 Sprig of Thyme
  • 100g Butter
  • 1 tbsp minced Garlic
  • 1 diced white Onion
  • 2 tbsp Tomato Paste
  • 1 tbsp Paprika (Bon Cuisine)
  • 150ml Beef Stock
  • 400ml Heavy cream
  • 100g Parmesan cheese
  • Handful of Parsley
  • 400g Rigatoni Pasta
  • Crispy Onions for Garnish (Bon Cuisine)

Method

    Season the ribeye steak with the smokey BBQ rub and SPG seasoning.

    Heat olive oil and 50g butter in a skillet over high heat, add the steak along with the rosemary and thyme sprigs, and sear to desired doneness. Remove steak to rest, then slice.

    Cook rigatoni pasta in a large pot of salted boiling water until al dente, then drain.

    In a large pan or skillet, melt 100g butter and sauté the diced onion and minced garlic until fragrant and softened.

    Stir in the tomato paste and paprika, cooking for about a minute.

    Pour in the beef stock and heavy cream, bringing the mixture to a gentle simmer until slightly thickened.

    Stir in the parmesan cheese and chopped parsley until smooth and fully incorporated.

    Toss the cooked pasta into the cream sauce until well coated.

    Serve the creamy pasta topped with the sliced ribeye steak and crispy onions.
