Garlic Butter Steak Bites with Mashed Potatoes
Tender seared ribeye steak bites tossed in garlic butter, served alongside infused creamy mashed potatoes.
Ingredients
- 2 Ibs ribeye, cut into bite size pieces
- 1 tbsp oil
- 3 tsp of Cajun or Montreal seasoning
- 3 tbsp butter
- 3-4 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tsp parsley, chopped
- 4-5 Yukon gold potatoes, peeled
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup milk
- 3 garlic cloves, whole
- 2 sprigs of rosemary
- 2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp chives or green onions

Season steak with oil and Cajun seasoning.

Sear on high heat for a few minutes on each side, then remove from the pan.

Melt butter in the pan and add garlic.

Add steak bites back in and coat in garlic butter.

Sprinkle parsley over the steak bites.

Boil peeled potatoes for about 30-35 minutes with a pinch of salt.

Drain and use a ricer to mash for a smooth texture.

In a small saucepan, melt butter and add cream, milk, whole garlic cloves, and rosemary sprigs.

Bring to a boil, remove from the heat, cover, and let the aromatics infuse for at least 15-20 minutes.

Strain the infused cream mixture onto the mashed potatoes.

Mix well and serve garnished with chives or green onions.
