Marry Me Steak Pasta

Tender, butter-basted ribeye steaks served over pasta in a rich, creamy sun-dried tomato and parmesan sauce.

Ingredients

  • 2 ribeyes
  • Salt and black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 3 garlic cloves, unpeeled
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 tosp sun dried tomato oil
  • 1/2 onion, diced
  • 3-4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/3 cup sun dried tomatoes, chopped
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1 1/2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/4 tsp dried red pepper flakes
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/3 cup Parmesan cheese, freshly shredded
  • 3 tbsp fresh parsley
  • Pasta of choice

Method

    Remove your steaks from the fridge about 30 minutes before cooking.

    Dry steaks thoroughly with a paper towel and season well with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.

    Sear steaks in a pan on high heat on both sides.

    Melt 4 tbsp butter in the pan and add the unpeeled garlic cloves.

    Constantly baste steaks with the melted butter, flipping every 30 seconds until the internal temperature reaches about 120°F.

    Remove steaks from the pan and let them rest to reach a medium internal temperature of 135°F.

    Wipe down the pan, then melt 2 tbsp butter along with the sun-dried tomato oil.

    Sauté the diced onion, minced garlic, and chopped sun-dried tomatoes.

    Deglaze the pan with chicken broth, then pour in the heavy cream.

    Season the sauce with Italian seasoning, red pepper flakes, paprika, salt, and black pepper.

    Shred the Parmesan cheese into the sauce and stir until incorporated.

    Slice the rested steak.

    Add cooked al dente pasta of choice, sliced steak, and fresh parsley to the sauce and toss to combine.
